With a degree in Commercial Multimedia Photography, my foundation in visual storytelling was built through hands-on coursework and real-world application.
Whether behind the camera or stepping in to lead the creative direction on set, I developed a strong understanding of how to shape a visual narrative from concept to final image.
My experience spans photo retouching, 35mm film, studio shoots, and capturing personal milestones. Across every project, I approach photography as both a technical skill and a creative craft.
Explore each of these mediums below.
Studio
Studio photography was a major focus in my undergraduate studies. I worked with a variety of professional lighting setups and equipment, learning to build controlled environments that brought concepts to life.
When the pandemic limited access to traditional studio spaces, I adapted by creating at-home setups with the tools and materials I had on hand. That shift pushed me to think more resourcefully and helped refine my ability to produce strong, intentional visuals regardless of the space.
Retouching
My undergraduate focus centered on photo retouching, a skillset that became especially valuable during client shoots—some of which I had the opportunity to assist on directly.
I consider myself a Photoshop expert, with experience ranging from full compositing to standard scene cleanup. Every image was refined to align with the brand’s visual goals and meet a high standard of polish and professionalism.
Film
As a creative outlet, I turned to 35mm film as a way to turn the everyday into something intentional. For me, film photography has always been more about the process than the final product. From loading the roll to manually shooting, developing, and retouching, each step offers a slower, more considered way to create.
It became a space to experiment, reset, and stay connected to the roots of visual storytelling.
Milestone
Beyond academic and professional projects, I also found joy in capturing personal milestones. I occasionally photographed surprise engagements and graduation moments for friends, leaning into the challenge of staying discreet, creative, and intentional.
These opportunities allowed me to blend storytelling with spontaneity and gave me a chance to celebrate the people I care about through the lens.
